Since 1993
Technical Writing Consultants was created in 1983 as a sole proprietorship by Ed Stiltner. He founded TWC at a time when many organizations were beginning to outsource technical publications work. Ed saw a need for a company that could serve as a contractor for those organizations making the transition from in-house to outsourced resources. The company has steadily grown over the years, and TWC is now staffed with full-time employees as well as numerous contracted employees. TWC uses the most current equipment and software to better serve our clients.
We have worked with many high-profile clients; namely in the military, aerospace, commercial, agricultural, and medical industries. Some of our recent projects include technical documents for the Boeing 787, the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and the GE Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Console.
